1. Is there a maximum group size?

As we do one-on-one instructor/student training on the range, the most we can accommadate is three shooters in a single shooting line. For CPL classes, we can do groups of up to 12 people on the range (our hosted classes are much smaller). For lessons, it would vary based on the desired learning objectives. Please contact us to work out the logistics.

2. Is there a dress code?

All of the ranges that we typically frequent are outdoors so in addition to dressing accordingly for the weather, we highly recommend the following:
          -a hat with a brim
-a non-collared, not low cut top
-some non-high heeled, closed toed shoes.

3. What do I need for the range?

All persons on the range must wear eye and ear protection (we have some for borrowing if need be). Shooters will also need a firearm and some factory ammunition. Shooters may also need a holster, extra magazines, and/or a magazine pouch depending on the class/lesson. Please contact us for specifics on your clsss/lesson needs.

4. Do I need my own gun for my class/lesson?

If you have your own, feel free to bring it. If not, we will have limited firearms available for rent. The cost for renting a firearm for a standard CPL class is $30. Renting a firearm for Firearm Fluency Introduction to Handguns course is $15.

Price for renting a firearm for lessons may vary based upon the type and number of firearms rented, and desired learning objectives.

5. How do I transport my handgun to class without a license?

Per MCL 750.231a(d)(e)...(d) To a person while transporting a pistol for a lawful purpose that is licensed by the owner or occupant of the motor vehicle in compliance with section 2 of 1927 PA 372, MCL 28.422, and the pistol is unloaded in a closed case designed for the storage of firearms in the trunk of the vehicle. (e) To a person while transporting a pistol for a lawful purpose that is licensed by the owner or occupant of the motor vehicle in compliance with section 2 of 1927 PA 372, MCL 28.422, and the pistol is unloaded in a closed case designed for the storage of firearms in a vehicle that does not have a trunk and is not readily accessible to the occupants of the vehicle..."

6. How much are private lessons?

We charge $30 per hour of private one-on-one instruction. Please contact us to work out the logistics.

7. How far are you willing to travel?

This would depend on the distance and time required, what was being taught, number of students, and instructor(s) availability. Please contact us to work out the logistics.

8. What forms of payments do you accept?

We accept cash and American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa debit/credit cards.
